Investment

What moves the price of a job.

Cost guides don't agree with each other, so we don't give you an average. After the visit, we give you the number for your home, in writing.

  • Size

The square feet of floor, wall and counter.

  • Layout changes

Moving pipes, a wall or the range.

  • Materials

Cabinets, counters and tile; the gap between stock and custom.

  • Age of the house

Old installations and, before 1978, the lead steps.

  • Permits

When the job needs them, they go in the estimate.

Investment

Three levels of kitchen and bath work.

Each level includes labor, the materials on the list you approve and the permits when the job needs them. The number for your home goes in your written estimate.

  • Refresh

Same layout. We change what you see: cabinets or their fronts, counters, fixtures, paint and lights.

    Most asked for

Same layout, everything new: cabinets, counters, floor, tile, finish plumbing and lighting.

None of them includes appliances, repairs to what turns up behind a wall, or changes you ask for during the job; each of those is priced separately, in writing, before the work. A home built before 1978 can need extra steps.

Questions

What people ask us most.

How much does a kitchen or bathroom cost?

It depends on size, whether the layout changes, the materials and the age of the house. The number for your home comes in writing after the visit.

What does the no-cost estimate include?

The one-hour visit, the measurements, a look at visible pipes and walls, and the scope in writing. It does not include permit drawings or 3D design; if you need them, we say so first and price them separately.

How much is the deposit and when do I pay?

The deposit and payment schedule are written into the contract, in parts that follow the progress of the job, and the last payment comes only after the final walkthrough. The amount is set by the contract within what Texas law allows; the owner confirms it.

What if you find something behind the wall?

It happens in homes of any age: moisture, old pipes, poorly run wires. We stop, show you photos and give the cost of the fix in writing. No change goes ahead without your signature.
